Canal de Bourgogne - Dijon

What a great day for bike riding, magic sunshine, not much wind and 24 degrees.

Rode for almost two hours today along a very straight section of the canal. It's a been a bit over 3 weeks since I have been on a bike, the legs will take a couple of days to catch up.

My secondhand bike is working well and surprisingly comfortable.
I have to keep my wits about me in the traffic in Dijon, very narrow one way streets along with big, wide and very busy boulevards. But once on the canal it is all bike path and no cars.

The canal was very busy with boat traffic, some fabulously outfitted barges going through the locks that I rode passed. They looked very inviting..........

Fully catered for barge, probably no more than 6 couples.
