Trike flight over the vineyards of Burgundy

On Friday I had the pleasure of going flying with Andre-Georges Lafitte in his immaculate Air Creation microlight ( trike). This machine is the limo of the microlight world, comfy seats, great wind shielding, 60 litres of fuel and very stable in the air.
Unfortunately it wasn't a great day for flying, the cloud ceiling was only 1500 feet and it was just a little bumpy. All rugged up in a flying suit and heavy gloves so no pics from the air.
It was great to see all of the places I had ridden through and then some more. Had a great view of all of the aircraft lined up in front of the Chateau at Savigny le Beaune . (Aviation museum), Andre-Georges pointed out the aircraft that he had flown when he was in French Air Force. Including the Mirage III that the Australian airforce used for many years.

Andre-George.s is a colourful character (not only in his dress), a long history in aviation, both military and civil. He has been associated with microlight's since 1988. He was the first person to fly a microlight (3 axis) across the Atlantic, had a nasty crash towards the end of the flight that almost killed him! He still holds some microlight world records.

It was nice to be back in the air again - it's been a while since I have flown. I took the controls with some trepidation as it has many features that mine doesn't and is 50% more powerful.
It was a delight to fly, light on the control bar and very stable through the rough air. It was very comforting, knowing that Andre-Georges was sitting right behind me, ready to take over in an instant.
I would have to sell both kidneys, as a new one of these machines would set me back an even 70,000 Euro's
